May 2013 Patient of the Month

Lila is a very sweet Pharaoh Hound mix who recently
came in with a limp which we suspect may be
the product of arthritis, but Lila isn’t slowing down!
She has been treated at Rose City for much of her life
for routine wellness care and to manage her allergies.
Lila has to stay on a strict hypoallergenic diet or she
will become very itchy, but she is a trooper and doesn’t
complain. She always has a friendly wag of the ear for us!

May 2013 Boarder of the Month

Gollum is a super adorable Terrier Mix who is as
sweet as he is handsome! He is always very well behaved
when he comes to stay with us. He has a dainty little
trot when he takes walks around the hospital, greeting
each department as he makes his rounds, and his friendly
temperament never diminishes. We know his namesake isn’t
all that cute, but our Gollum is absolutely “Our Precious!”

April 2013 Patient of the Month

Azul is a wonderful Great Dane who has been through a lot. He has been in for surgery and multiple bandage changes, x-rays, and a toe amputation. He is currently battling bone cancer, but his human companions are doing everything they can for him. He has many adoring fans inside and out of the hospital, all hoping his golden years will be as sweet as he is.

April 2013 Boarder of the Month

This affectionate tabby is Banjo. He really enjoys his time out in the cat boarding “office,” and keeps us company by purring in our laps. He will say hi to you sweetly and lean into head rubs to get your attention. He has the sweetest round face, and nothing seems to bother him - he is mellow and calm regardless of what is going on around him.

March 2013 Patient of the Month

George is one of the sweetest pit bulls we’ve met. We are currently treating him for demodex (mange). In addition to his skin problems, he had to come see us for an abscess repair in his shoulder. He was adopted from the Oregon Humane Society in November, and his owner has been working so hard to get him healthy. George is a very lucky boy.

March 2013 Boarder of the Month

Contrary to many of her Jack Russell counterparts, Skip isn’t always bouncing up and down like a spring. In fact, this wonderful girl is extremely patient and well-mannered. She listens when spoken to, and cooperates when our staff need her to. She’s such a joy to have around, and we really love it when she comes to stay with us!

February 2013 Patient of the Month

Floyd has a lot of friends in “the back of the house,” and it’s no coincidence - he is sweet through every treatment we perform! This personable basset hound recently underwent multiple growth removals and bandage changes with us, and it wasn’t the first time! He is finally “lump free,” but we always love a chance to see him and his fantastic human!

February 2013 Boarder of the Month

This loving look is just one example of why Selli has become one of our favorite boarders. She is impossible not to get along with! This girl is mellow and sweet and fluffy like a cloud - you can just sink into her fur! She’s happy to cuddle with you and always walks right by your side.
