Veterinarians
Rose City Veterinary Hospital has three full time doctors who see patients on a daily basis.
CRAIG QUIRK, DVM
Dr. Quirk grew up in Eugene and graduated from Oregon State University in 1990. He purchased Rose City Veterinary Hospital in the Spring of 1996 and has been busy rejuvenating the practice ever since. He has a Border Collie aptly named Chaos. Dr. Quirk is a former president of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association and is a member of the Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
LISA BERGER, DVM
Dr. Berger is an associate veterinarian and graduated from Oregon State University in 1989. She began working at Rose City as a part-time associate in February of 2007 and began working full time in January of 2008. Dr. Berger enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, running, tennis and traveling. She shares her home with her two cats Mr. Pickles and Jimmy. Dr. Berger is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Association.
JOSÉ MARTÍN, DVM
Dr. Martín is an associate veterinarian and began working at Rose City in March of 2008. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2002. Dr. Martín completed his small animal internship from 2002–2003 at the Manhattan Veterinary Group in New York City. A Portland resident since 2003, his hobbies include working out, hiking and yoga. Dr. Martín is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Martín is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, the Oregon Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
JONATHAN PERCHICK, DVM
Dr. Perchick works part-time here at Rose City Veterinary Hospital and graduated from Kansas State University in 2005. Following graduation, Dr. Perchick completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Cornell University. Additionally, he received advanced training in small animal internal medicine at the University of Georgia. Dr. Perchick enjoys seeing complicated internal medicine cases, emergencies and soft tissue surgery cases. He shares his home with his beautiful wife (also a veterinarian), daughter and energetic Dalmatian (Jack). Dr. Perchick is a member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association, Oregon Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Dental Society.
